GA4 Event Parameter Comparison Tool

Isolate the unique GA4 event parameters that separate one user action from another to build perfect event modification rules or GTM triggers.

?

How This Works

  1. Use the official GA Debugger Chrome extension to see event data in your browser's Console.
  2. Perform the specific action you want to track (e.g., clicking a "Buy Now" button).
  3. In the Console, find the GA4 event log and copy the entire block of event parameters.
  4. Paste the logs for the events you **WANT** to isolate into the **"Positive Examples"** box.
  5. Paste logs from other, similar events you want to ignore into the **"Negative Examples"** box.
  6. Click "Find Unique Parameters" to see what makes your target events different.
